Men! As always, this year’s men’s retreat is shaping up to be quite a “sizzler”. It is scheduled for Saturday, December 6th at Raccoon River Bible Camp. The speaker will be Pastor Scott Owen, and his theme is “Brothers to Brothers, Obeying the One Anothers: Biblical Tools for Resolving Conflict” (Mark 9:50). Scott has a very strong background in counseling and resolving conflict in all sorts of different relationships.
Let’s face it, us men normally like to be either domineering or passive when we see conflict. Neither of which is good, or Biblical. And for this reason we have a lot of issues pushed “under the rug”. Come enjoy a good challenge from Scripture with other men from around the midwest as we learn from Mark 9:50 that “salt is GOOD…”
There will be a great breakfast and lunch provided, as always! Additionally, we will continue the tradition of holding a skeet shoot, so bring your shotgun or borrow a buddy’s. Lastly, we will have the camp open to those who wish to come Friday evening for a time of fellowship and games before the day of the event.
This event is for teen, college age, or adult men. Invite your friends and come join in!
Cost is $35 per adult or $10 for college age or teen. Register by clicking the link above.
